In short
- This website does not use cookies of any kind.
- There are no analytics, no pixels, no advertising and no social media buttons.
- The invitation and family vote pages store your anonymous session in your browser and, on the vote page, the name you vote under. This is essential for them to work and is not used to track you.
- That is why you will not see any consent banner: there is nothing to consent to.
- The app does show advertising, but not with cookies: this is explained below.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. They are used to remember preferences, keep sessions open or obtain statistical information about browsing. Other equivalent techniques for storing and accessing information on the device fall under the same legal umbrella, such as local storage, session storage or tracking pixels.
2. Cookies used by this website: none
The home page, the legal documents, the data sources, support and the recommendation page are generated on the server: they consist of HTML, a style sheet, a typeface, our own JavaScript files and graphics, all served from the site’s own domain (nombrelia.com). They do not load any resources from third-party servers.
We do not set any cookies, either our own or third-party ones, and we do not identify devices by their digital fingerprint (fingerprinting) or use tracking pixels or web analytics tools (there is no Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Meta Pixel or equivalent). We do not embed videos, maps, external fonts or social media buttons.
We do not build profiles or know who visits the site. The language you see the website in is determined by the page address or, for shared links, by your browser’s language, without storing anything.
3. The invitation and vote pages
The only exception is the pages you open from the link to a pair invitation (nombrelia.com/p/) or a family vote (nombrelia.com/v/). To work, they store your anonymous session data in your browser’s local storage and connect from your browser to our database provider, Supabase, to read the invitation or the vote and save your vote.

This storage is strictly necessary to provide the service you expressly request (viewing the invitation, voting and changing your vote), so the law does not require consent (Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 on information society services and electronic commerce, LSSI-CE). It is not used for analytics or advertising and is not shared with third parties. If you delete it, that browser will no longer recognize your vote. How the data you type is processed is explained in the Privacy Policy.
4. Server technical logs
The site is hosted by a hosting provider (Vercel) which, like any web server, may automatically log technical connection data (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type) solely to serve the pages, maintain security and produce aggregate infrastructure statistics. These logs are not cookies, are not used for advertising purposes and do not allow us to identify you personally.
5. The mobile app is a different matter
This policy refers only to the website. The “Nombrelia” mobile app does show advertising through Google AdMob. On a phone, browser cookies are not used; instead, the device’s advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, AAID on Android) and other technical data are used.
Before loading any ad, the app asks for your consent through Google’s form (User Messaging Platform) in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland and, on iOS, also through Apple’s tracking prompt (App Tracking Transparency). You can withdraw that consent at any time from the app’s settings or the system settings. While Nombrelia Plus is active, no advertising is loaded.

6. How to control cookies in your browser
Even though there are none here, you can always review, block or delete the cookies and local storage of any site from your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge and similar, in their privacy section).
7. Changes to this policy
If this site were ever to add a cookie or measurement tool, we would update this page with the details of each one and enable the corresponding consent mechanism before setting it.
